La Guillotine
To commemorate the "200 years of the french revolution", brewery huyghe designed the "La guillotine". The popularity of this beer quickly caught on and it is now being distributes all across the globe.
Brewery Location: Melle, Belgium 🇧🇪
Style: Belgian Triple
Colour: Golden blond with a very persistent, off-white fine lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold, and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially slightly sweet and mouth-warming due to its high alcohol content. A slightly higher bitterness compared to most Belgian Triples, with a clean dry, bittersweet finish.
